In the central part of Serengeti National Park, near the Orangi River, lies Baobab Central Serengeti Camp an intimate camp that gets visited from time to time by giraffes, zebras and even elephants. It features 17 self-contained, fully furnished wooden safari tents, three of which are ideal for families or groups as they accommodate up to six guests. All tents are equipped with queen-size beds, free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms with flushing toilets and showers, verandas with chairs, and electricity and hot water generated exclusively through solar energy. The main tent houses the reception, a restaurant with delicious breakfasts and dinner, a lounge for reading and relaxation, and a bar.
