4 Day Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar

Your adventure begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). A friendly WeGuide Africa Safaris representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. If you prefer, you can take a morning flight from Zanzibar directly to Arusha, where your guide will meet you at the airport. After a short briefing, you’ll drive straight to Tarangire National Park.

Once inside the park, the safari excitement begins. Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds, and wide open savannahs. You’ll spend the day on game drives, spotting giraffes, lions, zebras, and countless bird species. Around midday, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots overlooking the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge or camp near the park for dinner and overnight stay.

If traveling during the right season, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, as herds move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. Reflect on the day’s incredible wildlife sightings and prepare for a full day of safari adventures in the Serengeti tomorrow.

Throughout the morning, explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to Africa’s highest concentration of wildlife.
