The Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp is an eco-friendly camp in the savannah, surrounded by acacia trees. Located on the eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater at just a 15 minutes drive away from the crater, this camp makes the perfect starting point for a trip to the famous caldera. The camp offers 16 comfortable tents with wooden floors that can accommodate one up to three people. The traditional African-style tents are equipped with comfy beds, ensuite bathrooms, mosquito nets, free Wi-Fi and a private veranda overlooking the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, you’ll find tables and chairs to relax and take in that beautiful setting.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a diner tent which offers all the comfort of a regular restaurant. The camp serves international and African cuisine, and can adapt dishes to special dietary needs. There is also the possibility to request a bush breakfast or bush dinner where you enjoy your meal with a beautiful view over the savannah and its wildlife. The camp is fully powered by solar energy, and right next to the dining area, you will find a lounge and bar area with outlets to charge your electronic devices. After dinner, a crackling campfire is lit outside the dining tent, offering a cozy atmosphere to reflect on your day at the crater and the beautiful things you saw there.
