Take in the beauty of Uganda’s landscapes and catch a glimpse on Jinja’s highlights like the famous Lake Victoria. Once arrived, you switch from four big wheels to four smaller wheels and discover the outskirts of the adrenaline capital during a quad tour.

White water rafting on the Nile River in Jinja is an exhilarating adventure that combines adrenaline-pumping rapids with stunning scenery. From the bustling Jinja you drive to Kibale National Park today, known as the primate capital of the world. The park hosts the most chimpanzees and monkey species in the world and monkey lovers will have a blast discovering all 13 species (the L’Hoest monkey, olive baboon, vervet monkey, grey-cheeked Mangabey, Uganda red Colobus and Prince Demidoff’s bushbaby to just name a few). The drive takes about 7 hours and the landscapes are diverse, from lush greenery along the riverbanks to grasslands and evergreen rainforest when you approach Kibale.

In the depths of the rainforest, you get to observe our closest relatives play, eat and groom each other – an experience which will make everyone’s eyes sparkle! And since the jungle holds many more treasures, you go on the hunt for them afterwards during a swamp walk (not literally!).

The drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park is like a trailer for the big movie – your safari, which happens on the very same day! The superstars of the most royal of all parks cannot wait to pose for your pictures.

After discovering countless gems of Queen Elizabeth National Park on land, it’s time to hop into a comfy boat and do the same on the Kazinga channel – the home of hippos, crocodiles and colourful birds.

Enjoy the beauty of Uganda on a 5 to 6-hour drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Observe the landscape gradually transforming from open savannah plains to thick and lush green forests. A memorable drive!

The Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to eight gorilla families, some of which are still unaccustomed to human presence. During a mountain gorilla trekking tour, you can hike along challenging trails, spending either an hour with the habituated groups or, at an extra cost, up to four hours observing the less familiar giants in their natural habitat. This once-in-a-lifetime experience, where you can watch the gorillas eat, play, and be guarded by the silverback, will leave you in awe and may even bring tears of joy to your eyes. Please note that gorilla trekking is conducted in groups of up to 8 people, requires proper hiking shoes, and typically lasts 2 to 4 hours. Also, since this is a very popular activity which needs both a permit and a guide, it has to be booked separately and well in advance.

Embark on an exciting 4-hour scenic drive from Bwindi to Mgahinga, Uganda. This captivating journey takes you through lush landscapes, showcasing the country’s incredible natural beauty. Enjoy the diversity of Ugandan flora and fauna as you traverse this picturesque route from Bwindi’s dense forest to Mgahinga’s captivating volcanoes.

From the misty mountains of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, you proceed your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive will take about 8 hours and you’ll see the scenery gradually change to hilly green pastures and wide-open savannahs. Make sure to keep an eye out for wildlife along the way because, as you approach Lake Mburo, you can see rare birds, such as the African finfoot or the shoebill stork. Also, the region is known for zebras, impala, bushbuck, leopards and warthogs. Get your binoculars and cameras out during this trip!

During a mountainbike safari outside of Lake Mburo National Park, you get a closer look at African wildlife (like really close!), learn more about plants and catch a glimpse of traditional village life. In a jeep, you can cover even more ground afterwards.

After some exhilarating days, the end of your adventure is near. Enjoy the ride back to where it all started, take in the stunning views once more, and take off with new memories that last forever. Or simply stay a little longer.
