Terms and Condition
Weguide African Safaris
Effective Date: 10 June 2024
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Weguide African Safaris, including bookings, tours, safaris, and any related products. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
A deposit (usually 30% unless otherwise specified) is required to confirm a booking.
The balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start date of the safari.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
By the Client:
More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus bank charges.
30–59 days before departure: 50% of total cost refunded.
Less than 30 days: No refund.
By Weguide African Safaris:
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest). In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.
3. Travel Insurance
All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, personal liability, and lost luggage.
Weguide African Safaris is not liable for any costs arising from uninsured travel.
4. Health and Safety
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and participate in safaris and excursions.
Clients must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements before travel.
Weguide African Safaris follows standard safety protocols but cannot be held liable for incidents caused by personal negligence or wildlife encounters.
5. Visas and Passports
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports and required visas for Tanzania or any country visited during the safari.
Weguide African Safaris is not responsible for any delays or denial of entry due to visa issues.
6. Itinerary Changes
While every effort is made to follow the agreed itinerary, changes may occur due to weather, park regulations, or other factors beyond our control.
We reserve the right to make necessary modifications in the best interest of client safety and experience.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Weguide African Safaris is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or death arising during your trip unless caused by our proven negligence.
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by third-party service providers, airlines, or natural occurrences.8. Use of Images and Testimonials
We may take photos or videos during your trip for promotional use (e.g., website, social media).
If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in writing before your tour begins.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Tanzania.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Weguide African Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
